Southampton Puja and Cultural Association is celebrating Durga Puja from past three years. The celebration will take place from 15 October to 17 October 2010 at the Hilt hall, Chandlers Ford.
This is the puja venue that is located in the south cost area of England.
“In addition to traditional rituals several cultural programs will be arranged on this occasion presented by the guest and local artists”, said Madhu Acharyya, the Press Secretary of Southampton Puja and Cultural Association. He was very energetic when said, “Southampton Puja and Cultural Association (SPCA) is a new but active association. It organizes several cultural events including Bangla New Year, Rabindra-Nazrul Jayanti, etc. SPCA believes and encourage in multicultural association and partnership.” He signs off.
SPCA will celebrate Sasthi Puja at 5.30 pm, Saptami Puja at 6.30 pm, Ashtami Puja at 7.30 pm, Sondhi Puja 8.00 pm, Pushpanjali at 8.30 pm, and Bhog at 9.30 pm.
On Nabami the puja will be at 10.30 pm, Kumari puja wil be at 11.30 pm, Nabami Anjali will be at 12.00 pm, bhog will be at 01.00 pm, Hom will be at 06.30 pm, Anjali will be at 07.00 pm, this will be followed by a cultural programme at 07.30 pm, and bhog will be at 09.00 pm.
On Sunday i.e. on 17th October, 2010 you can attend Dashami puja at 11.30 am, bhog will be at 01.00 pm, you can enjoy cultural programme from 02.00 pm, Bisarjan will take place at 04.00 pm and sindur khela will be at 04.00 pm..
